False Advertising

The peacock is the master of false advertising.
His beautiful plumage misrepresents his cacophonous honk, and it’s lushness is as fleeting as the mating season. Whereafter he goes bald, gets fat and spends the winter expecting the bride he lured with his ample grace and confidence to watch the chicks, clean the nest and nag him about letting himself go.
